Hi again!

After running the Across page for some time it is clear that you want more info on its competitors.  Unfortunately I can't write about the seat of the pants feel of some of the others as its been a long time since I've ridden anything in what many call the learner motorcycle class or under 250cc motorcycles.  Following feedback from you I did forget to note that 'learner' motorbikes vary by country - so to address this short fall I will be including other motorcycles under 650cc in the future.

Note that since writing this page I was surprised that 3 of the motorcycles I have ridden over 12 years ago are still available new!  So finally my version of a 'one stop shop' for choosing your first motorcycle. Yep, I've put together all the current 250cc and under motorcycles or learner motorcycles you can get for this year (Brand New) in this series of web pages.  It's here to help you research specifications, view some pictures and read about my opinion to these bikes. Remember you should get opinions from other sites before making your own judgements.

Remember some comments are made of rides many years ago and only a few from friends who bought them but most are opinions based on looking at specifications and physical appearance.  This site is primarily for Australian riders but clearly these models are available elsewhere in the world too.

Why do I do this? I just like creating stuff which is simply not available. All content apart from specifications is my own.   Furthermore I meet lots of people who want to buy motorcycle and don't know where to start.  If you're starting out you should be armed with as much information as you can, that said nothing beats actual experience.  Remember too that specs do play a part in your choice of your first motorcycle since you have very little experience to start of with.

Furthermore almost all motorcycle sites as so hard to navigate with inappropriate use of the web's features that it really makes you wonder who authorised them in the first place. EG. I don't want to spend 30 minutes downloading the latest browser plug-in then spend the next 30 minutes waiting for the stupid site to download and realise it doesn't improve my web experience.  Another thing - I want to see big pictures of the motorcycle in question not small pictures - it simply indicates your brand is just not interested in my money.  Lastly I will always encourage others to do their own website to write about their own experiences don't copy what I've written its not what the internet is about.
