Aprilia Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle company. It's been around for years - at least in Europe where they have been making scooters. It's brand rose to prominence during the Max Biaggi then Valentino Rossi years where they rode them to victory in the 125cc and 250cc MotoGP (Motorcycle Grad Prix) class for many years. Valentino has of course moved to the once floundering Yamaha racing team and brought them Moto GP victory as well. It does to show that the rider plays a very important part in the ability of a motorcycle to perform. Aprilia has had ex-Suzuki engines for many years, notably the former RGV250 2-stroke engines. There is nothing wrong with that at all! Thankfully the company so it fit to provide a new and much more agile frame and suspension work. In the past it has sold the RS250 1993-2004. Today they only offer one model (excluding scooter) in the 250cc and under class in Australia.
