I put this page up so that you can compare the Landcruiser Prado to the Ford Territory. The Ford Territory is an Australian only model however you can import them privately or limited numbers as grey imports in parts of the world. Both are quite different 4wds because the Ford Territory does not have the same capability off road - being classed as a cross over - as the Prado no matter how much you or anyone else want it to! The Ford is road orientated. Why is it called the Territory? Only Ford's
marketing department can tell you the answer to that one! |
The Ford offers AWD - all wheel drive or 2 wheel drive, rear driven option on most models. There are lots of model variants and options for the Territory so it shouldn't be too hard to get a unique version. Specifications are for 2008 models. Both Prado and Territory are lovely cars and choosing between them would technically be difficult however after driving both you will decide that they are quite different. So chose the one that most appeals to you. Note that specifications will change according to
the trim models available and additional or less accessories.
