Of course performance can mean handling, fuel economy, power and of course 0-100kph, top speed and things like that. But this is not a race car so I researched the usual claimed performance figures for the Land Cruiser/Prado and extracted these performance figures for the Prado/Land Cruiser. I presume the figures are based on averages and using the highest octane unleaded petrol and cleanest diesel you can get. They probably used the light models for the test - at a guess and probably is a controlled environment with a run-in but new engine! Performance figures will vary according to model and country! Other models Claim for the Lexus GX V8 is 8.1 sec 0-60mph. My own testing estimate based on GPS is 9.4sec 0-100kph. Although still new at the time of writing it's not a slow car by any means.
